103 ti TESTAF incoming
Made a trade deal for my 1992 Omega Moonwatch with a nice fellow in New York. We don't see many TESTAF SINNs. I have a Omega X-33 astronaut watch in titanium so the SINN will feel normal. This model is a fat 17mm thick! Luckily my Marathon JSAR is the same 17mm thick! Kinda rare too is that this is 200m rated chrono. SINN created the Argon gas capsule concept which reduces any moisture found in the watch. A small sapphire window shows the color blue as indicator. When dark blue, the capsule has absorbed enough moisture and needs replacing. The Kit came with a nice leather strap and 2 hex keys for removing links.

Looks cool. I like that case/bezel style a lot. It looks identical to my EZM1.

Re: 103 ti TESTAF incoming
Love it. It's 17mm thick, but it doesn't feel it. I think it has to do with the convex sapphire case back and the front convex sapphire. Convex sapphire case back actually digs nicely into the wrist making it "sink" more than normal.

Good job T Wong.
I've owned a couple, and I am tempted when I occasionally see them go up for sale.
They wear very nice, just like an EZM1. The case, bezel and bracelet are pretty much the same measurements as an EZM1, but it does have the see through case back. They made the movement very pretty with blue screws.

Re: 103 ti TESTAF incoming
thanks ....I was thinking that the 41mm diameter has alot to do with the watch blending into the wrist, at least more than the JSAR. I am wearing my Seiko MM to get the wrist used to the SINN. Being of titanium helps!jswing wrote:Congrats, it's a great watch. And it doesn't feel like it's 17mm thick.

Re: 103 ti TESTAF incoming
The 103 wears way smaller than the MM300

That is good to know haha! I guess the watch has thickness 17mm but the titanium metal makes the 103 feel lighter.BBK357 wrote:The 103 wears way smaller than the MM300

Re: 103 ti TESTAF incoming
thanks..... Here is my 1980s Tutima Mil chrono chosen by the German Bundeswehr and used by NATO pilots. It has the Lemania 5100. The SINN TESTAF will be the modern counterpoint for me.

Re: 103 ti TESTAF incoming
The 103 arrived today noon and Wow! Everything said about it is true: does not wear heavy at all like the seiko MM, the 17mm thickness is not really noticeable since the titanium makes the watch light. The strap is first class, being pre-curved. Overall, the watch and strap feel nicely balanced. Maybe later on I'll install the bracelet.... This watch could easily crowd out the others in the rotation group!
