MunichTime 2016

Post by CGSshorty » Thu Oct 27, 2016 11:32 am

I hinted earlier that Sinn had some nice new watches to announce tomorrow at MunichTime. I'll be in a conference most of the day, so I'm posting the link to WatchBuys now. The link is live, but there are no photos or other information until tomorrow.

These just showed up on Sinn's IG feed - either versions I've never seen or maybe the new releases

I think it's pretty cool, is that KSK something in shiny black on black dial?

I swear I just want a U2 without a GMT hand and 24-hour circle, how hard is that

I think so. They would have called it a U2 it it was 44mm. Just a guess, though.

Obviously the people at Sinn know a heck of a lot more than we do about what sells and what doesn't, but I think they missed an opportunity on this one. For something with seemingly wide appeal like the U2C, I can't see how limiting it to 50 pieces sold only within Germany is smart business. It essentially means they can never put this watch into production without pissing off the 50 buyers who believed they were buying an LE, or turning off potential buyers of future LEs who will wonder if their LE will really be limited at all. So I don't think there's much hope of ever seeing this one again...
