EZM 3 or not..........

Thought I had an EZM 3 except for one very small detail....The guy opened
the back of the watch and Argon gas is gone...
What a knucklehead...

Re: EZM 3 or not..........
Argon or not, I don't think I would buy from anyone who opens the back of a watch. Who knows if they pinched a gasket or something.
Regarding the Argon, I think I recall a while back that RGM (US Sinn service center)was going to be getting whatever equipment was necessary to do the Ar refilling. Don't know if that ever happened, and have read a few not so great things about RGM service.

Look at the warranty card. anybody think of a GOOD reason to open up a 3 month old watch?
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

RGM doesn't have the equipment as of a week or two ago per a conversation I had with another Sinner.

What a complete Tool At least be sure you know HOW to open a caseback without effing it up firstdshap wrote:Looks like he didn't do a very good job opening the back- see the scratch.
I could never accept that scratch on a nearly new watch, especially knowing some dimwit made it when he decided he had to take a peak inside
Honey Badger FTW!!!
Re: EZM 3 or not..........
Wouldn't even consider it...Why would you ever open the back?
I almost want to PM him and ask...

Re: EZM 3 or not..........
$1200?? For a used EZM3 with no AR and a huge scratch on the caseback??
They're $1650 BNIB from the AD on bracelet. Shipping to Sinn is around $90 with insurance and whatnot, service, WR testing, and AR is something like $250 as I recall.......

Re: EZM 3 or not..........
don't do it Mike. If you're hard pressed to get the EZM 3, get it new or from someone who isn't a complete fuktard. I've opened several casebacks, but then again I don't plan to sell those watches and I have at least a clue as to why I would need to open one in the first place. But doing this on an Ar-filled case?
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.

Have you looked at this one?

Guy just lowered the asking price and opened for "reasonable offers" and wants to sell today.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Re: EZM 3 or not..........
Thanks. I inquired but that watch has a few more issues than described--blemishes/marks on case and lugs...Plus, I need a new strap or bracelet...His is a cut rubber....
A new one on rubber is $1460...

Good to know. I was tempted by it but never inquired. No longer tempted. I'll keep my eyes open for you (because if you buy it, I can't)!jimyritz wrote:Thanks.
