Guinand Web page up

I like the 40 series.
For the experts, why would a 7750 gold rotor and movement prices the same with a stainless steel rotor and movements?

yea, H Sinn is active and engaged, a miracle at his age. We've heard he was at Basel this year, cruising around the booths.
Also heard someone was doing a book about his life? Hope they get it done while he's still around.

I like it but it's a little small at 40.6mm.

I love the size.

Bigger than 42mm doesn't work for my twiggy wrists, so 40mm is right in my sweet spot.

Busy, small, odd lugs, unmistakably Sinn. I like the Serie 60.50-T chrono better. It has a very nice lugless Genta-like case design.

So, from what I can glean, Guinand is to Sinn what Tudor is to Rolex? I had never heard of them until this thread. I've always wanted to add a Sinn to the collection, but these look well done.

Guinand is the company Helmut Sinn started when he left Sinn.

Guinand Web page up

Post by macotignola » Mon Dec 28, 2015 7:10 pm

Hi there,
Looking to buy my 1st German watch and I came across this brand. What do you think? Did anyone purchase any of the new models? I haven't been able to find A LOT of recent information on this brand. That said, I found several old articles.

I would appreciate your thoughts. My other choices are Stova, Laco and Limes. Open to other suggestions.

Thanks,
Macotignola
