I'll respond, Eric...
I've never seen that, either.

Re: Sinn 809????
That is a really well done oddball. IWC-like Genta inspired case. Classic Sinn bracelet. Indices and markers adhered to the underside of the sapphire crystal (?) and smallish size. Really interesting. Without knowing when it was produced I'd guess it's a post Helmut Sinn/ early Lothar Schmidt production. Anyone here know more about it?
I see on the fourth page of the thread someone posted a very similar Heuer. Maybe Stewart or Shap knows more.

It needs the bracelet. Looks incomplete on a strap.

Peters right 80's-90's model there is a large S on case back that not put on the newer Sinn any more. Plus Heuer use the same case for one of there quartz model's about the same time. Does look better with bracelet than a strap.

Me neither
Re: Sinn 809????
I really like this Sinn. Dressy, rugged, 20 Bar while being 9mm thick. They don't make them like this anymore.

Re: Sinn 809????
I have mixed feelings about this one. The hands look really short, and the markers on the crystal thing is new and a bit odd.
Re: Sinn 809????
i think it's pretty cool. except i don't think i'd like the indices painted on the inside of the crystal. that's not just weird but difficult to replace.
Re: Sinn 809????
But with a cool 3-D effect as the hands pass beneath the indices!
