New Sinn Damaszener
No details, specs or pricing out yet but fantastic looker. Had the chance to handle one at the Pasadena Watchbuys roadshow recently.
Some others such as the 103 LE blue -
The T1 and T2 really wear much smaller (like almost all Sinn divers). Damasko is 40mm, U1 is 44mm, T1 is 45mm. The 41mm T2 was much smaller than the Damasko.
Have a ton of other pics of Sinn and other brands (Nomos, Junghans, Hanhart and some bespoke German) but you have seen them all before.
Here is the full album if anyone is interested - http://s50.photobucket.com/user/blowfis ... a-Roadshow

Re: New Sinn Damaszener
It does, but to my mind Sinn is a high tech tool watch company and this sort of watch isn't really in their sweet spot. If I was looking for a simple, less toolish watch like this one I'd probably turn to a company like Nomos.marchone wrote:Shit that first one looks GREAT!

No doubt - the displayback was beautiful. However, I could not see what is special about the dial and can't bring myself to pay so much for one. Probably the indoor lighting didn't help.rockmastermike wrote:Those Dornbluths are handsome watches
The regular Dorns were also a bit large for me, I much preferred the Quintus size.

There's a lot going with Dormbleuth. Beautiful finishing, lovely inhouse movements. But IMHO they're just a bit off design wise. Perhaps just a bit too Teitonic in the way Seiko can be a bit odd.
only accurate watches are interesting

I like the Damascus one, though it's a little fancy for Sinn.
Re: New Sinn Damaszener
It reminds of the Zenith Blue Pilot LE of a few years ago.

These were introduced in 2012 for Manufactum, a German Sinn retailer. Watchbuys has the last 20. Get it on the vintage strap.
