Don't worry, it's a Chicago gtg.

I've never owned an acrylic, or classic 103. Love the look. Every time I would be shopping I would always go with a 156.

Re: Sinn 103 St Acrylic
Only time for a quick pic right now, but I'm glad to have a Sinn back on my wrist.
Re: Sinn 103 St Acrylic
So if I order one on bracelet I'm afraid I won't like the polished center links so I have a question for you guys would you:
1) Get only the bracelet brushed
2) Get the bracelet and case brushed
3) Get only the bracelet blasted
4) Get the bracelet and the case blasted
5) Do nothing as the polished center links will grow on me
Thanks for the help!

The case and bracelet are not a perfect match, which is slightly annoying. I think the PCLs are ok, but if you want to do anything, consider brushing the bracelet. This watch is better on straps than the bracelet IMO.

I've never owned one (planning to), but I do love how they look on straps.
If you must have a bracelet, I would try brushing everything.

Re: Sinn 103 St Acrylic
The PCLs are smaller than regular oyster bracelets, sort of like the style of the PP Nautilus bracelet and I would keep them as is. However, the all blasted look is pretty damn nice.

Re: Sinn 103 St Acrylic
I had the bracelet on my last one. Sinn makes a really nice bracelet, but on the acrylic version I prefer straps. I have to get a couple straps for my new one I guess, I've only got the OEM and a couple natos. Oh, and I agreed with Hootie - I wouldn't brush or blast the polished links unless you're going to do the whole watch, since the polished links are the only part of the bracelet that match the case.
Re: Sinn 103 St Acrylic
Thanks for the comments guys, I will probably also wear mostly straps/NATO/ZULU on this one but I am a "bracelet guy" so it's inevitable that I will want to wear it on a bracelet at least sometimes. If I end up getting the bracelet I'll probably leave it alone at least for a while and if and when the time comes I will send it to Jack at IWW since he has a lot of good feedback here at DWC.

Re: Sinn 103 St Acrylic
If you're a bracelet guy it definitely makes sense to buy it on bracelet. Buying it after the fact is pricey. And it really is a nice bracelet. I was tempted to buy the bracelet version just to have it to wear once in a while, but ultimately decided to save the money and get the strap version.
Re: Sinn 103 St Acrylic
One other thing: swapping the bracelet on and off this watch is not exactly the easiest thing in the world.

Love the domed acrylic.
Slightly better wrist shot.
I did order a Di-Modell Pilot strap for it, which should have a little more presence than the OEM.

Aren't Sinn leather straps just rebranded Di-Modell straps?
