I retested the watch with the brightest light I had and the watch does have lume. On a scale of 1 - 10 it's a 2 which is horrible!

Yeah black lume is the least bright on the SL scale. The bezel markers on my white dial deep blue recon v2 are filled with black SL and they do light up well since its applied thick, but it lasts just a couple minutes and disappears.

As a result I think you bought a shitty watch so to make you feel better just send it to me and I'll inherit the terrible watch for you ;)

Actually you're right. Just used the ultra violet torch on my U 1 and it glowed really well, only it faded quite quickly. :crybaby:
