That's cool Chris. Maybe they'll fly you out for the next Bay Area show.

Re: Watchbuys road show
Ask them when are they coming to ATL?
I know, I know....when they get enough response to make it worth the trip.
Have fun and take pictures for the rest of us.

I promised to take pictures. I was way too busy to photograph everything, but here is some stuff I really liked. I posted plenty of photos on IG during the show.

Re: Watchbuys road show
Thanks for the pics Chris. I really like that Nomos Club. I just wish it came in the light dial at 41.5mm. The grey is nice too, though.

The Club was surprisingly great. It's probably the one Nomos that best suits my lifestyle.logan2z wrote:Thanks for the pics Chris. I really like that Nomos Club. I just wish it came in the light dial at 41.5mm. The grey is nice too, though.

What was the favorite, Chris? Both yours and the general public?

The Nomos Worldtimer was the star of the show. It's so great that I want one even though I have zero use for a world timer, or even a GMT. The Hanhart stuff is fantastic. I'm going to buy a MK1 monopusher very soon.matt.wu wrote:What was the favorite, Chris? Both yours and the general public?

That hanhart is way better in your pics than the others I'd seen...really dig the black face.
And I echo the size request on the Club...wish it wore a bit bigger.

The Hanhart stuff looks well made for what I think is a pretty solid price range.CGSshorty wrote:The Nomos Worldtimer was the star of the show. And I'm 100% with you and anyone else on a Nomos favorite - the True Blue Weltzeit is still far and away my favorite Nomos and one of my favorite watches.
Re: Watchbuys road show
I absolutely love the Hanhart line. The pilot chronographs really caught my eye and surprisingly, I have decided to buy the smallest model. They wear extremely large, so the 45mm model is enormous. The 42mm is the perfect size for me, but I like the 40mm model much better. Lug to lug on the 40mm case is 49mm, so it wears much larger.4pfrench wrote:That hanhart is way better in your pics than the others I'd seen...really dig the black face.

Re: Watchbuys road show
The Hanhart watches are a steal in their price range. I've seen few watches at that price point that can equal their level of case finishing, never mind the amount of modification they do to their movements.matt.wu wrote:The Hanhart stuff looks well made for what I think is a pretty solid price range.CGSshorty wrote:The Nomos Worldtimer was the star of the show.
