only accurate watches are interesting
Re: Sinn Service
They don't. They claim to be able to service everything. They can't.

Thanks Chris. I may try to sell my 757 UTC cheap as is and let the buyer deal with service.

Re: Sinn Service
I'm curious where they source the Sinn parts. I might consider it for something like my 556 which has a standard top grade 2824 with no high tech bells/whistles. Anything Argon filled or with a Copper sulfate capsule I would send to Germany.
Re: Sinn Service
Have you checked with RGM? They were supposed to be getting the argon chamber a few months ago.marchone wrote:Thanks Chris. I may try to sell my 757 UTC cheap as is and let the buyer deal with service.

Why not just send to Germany?

Re: Sinn Service
Why send it to Germany when RGM can do it. They have all the stuff now and are fully certified by Sinn to service most of the watches. The only ones that have to go to Germany now for service are the oil filled like the UX

Oil filled, TESTAF and DIAPAL movements must be sent to Germany.Erratic101 wrote:Why send it to Germany when RGM can do it. After dealing with both service centers many times I can say I would send to RGM any chance I could. Sinn Germany has horrible delays and wait times. Still waiting on another watch they've had for a long time. Every email is answered within 2 days but it's so much easier to call Vicki at RGM and have an answer right away.

Re: Sinn Service
After hearing everyone's Germany service stories without a doubt I would much rather go to RGM. I didn't know the diapal and testaf had to go as well. Good to know!
