U1 SDR Surprises Me

Post by namor » Thu Jan 08, 2015 7:46 am

Just got a U1 SDR this week, and have worn it for three days now. Not the first U1 I've ever had, and definitely not my first Sinn watch.

The surprise for me is that in 72 hours of wear, it has gained/lost ZERO seconds vs NIST.

Never seen that in a Sinn, or any other automatic watch before.

Never experienced that type of accuracy with any of the Sinn's that I've owned. My U1 and SDR both ran approx. +4 daily.

Only ever had a 5513 that was right on. Other than a UX and Breitling super quartz that is.

Still on target a day later. Hoppy may be right - I may have to keep this watch....

The only watch I have even done this was a Marcello C Tridente chrono, I thought I was out of my mind the first time. Heck it didn't start losing time until around the 4th day if I recall correctly.
