Similar to a Sinn Hourglass LE...I cannot get past the "Juwelier Roberto" on the dial..they also did neon green and neon blue (and I think maybe neon orange). You can also note their crappy logo under the date window.
Sinn will do an LE for just about anyone willing to pony up. I wish Watchbuys would organize one similar to the Hourglass edition for the US market.

Didn't even notice that under the date window. I recall they did a u2 for sole box I think it was called and it was killer.

I just missed out on a Solebox. While I was doing my due diligence, it was sold. Lots of counterfeits out there.

Solebox is by far the best LE Sinn ever made imo. I think they only made like 30 of them.

I think that black on black LE would be impossible to use for telling time.

Regardless, I was disappointed as hell to lose it. Turns out, after communicating with the president of Solebox, it was the real deal. One of only ten made.

Maybe Rob@WatchBuys can be petitioned by members here to commission a DWC model.

C'mon JP, that's such a minor detail.

I do have say - time reading aside, that is one good looking watch.

I've seen worse. Rolex has an all shiny black on black daydate model that you can't tell the time on, even with a long look in bright light.

Well, it does come with a useless black blob.

Because it's money? It's not we'd ask him to put "Rob is a monopolist" on the dial.

A discreet HTFU at the bottom would suffice nicely.

He sells every U1 he can get his hands on. If I was him I wouldn't go out of my way to do a forum watch for a forum that treats him like shit. Just my opinion, of course.

I think pride and PITA, not economics, would be the reason it wouldn't get done. I just checked the WB site and they currently have U1's in stock, so it's not as if he's having tight supply issues. If he were to do 20 special watches, all pre-paid, that's a nice pay day for him with very little risk. Variability of demand is what makes business difficult, and something like this would go a long way towards moderating the impact of a slow month.

I'm sure it won't happen though.

Agree wholeheartedly. I'm 110% for high legibility, but that gray/ black combo is killer.

That is a cool look. In some ways reminds me of this stealth Airman.
