Still trying to resolve the U1 authenticity and have a question about the date wheel.
I decided it would be easier to ask in this a separate thread.
I can get a reflection off the date wheel when I change the angle of the watch under a light.
I don't recall if this was the case with my previous U1's.
So, I'm asking U1 owners if that happens with yours, too.

Matt
I just took mine out in the sun - not much of a reflection but that's really subjective.

I decided to contact the seller to ask who he got the watch from.

I think you're fine Matt. You've handled an authentic in the past and if this one feels right then you should be good to go. Usually with fakes there's at least one thing they don't get right, outer ar, weight, lume pip, the color of the tegiment. Also the crown action is usually a good indicator as well. Even the good fakes have gritty feeling crowns from what I've read. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...
Re: U1 date wheel
About a month ago I had a 2 U1's, one SDR and one standard one. My SDR from 2011 has a glossier wheel and the 2013 standard U1 had a more matte wheel.
