This is great news if it works out.

That’s a solid plan to win back the loyal Doxa fans of yesterday.

Right. They need to do something to keep the fire from burning them.

I'd want to know what they have. If they have unobtanium parts like crowns, bezels, crystal gaskets, and bracelet parts....

ETA stuff? Who cares. I'll stick to my local guy.

Good point Mike. Would be interesting to know.

And recent WUS Doxa forum post that they don't even own 1200t parts! It was barely a year that brand new 1200t still available for sale. Where is Doxa heading now?

Latest is the guy contacted an AD in the UK (Blue) who was able to help get Doxa to find him a new crown (55CHF).

So good news is he is set on the crown. Bad news is he had to jump through hoops to get a basic replacement part for a relatively recent model watch.

As much as I like some Doxa designs, it’s stories like this that make me really hesitant to spend $2k+ on one of their watches. If it were a $500 micro I wouldn’t care as much, but at a couple grand I expect quite a bit more from their customer service.

So I contacted Synchron USA about vintage SUB bezels and here was their (predictable) reply:
Dear Sir,

Unfortunately, vintage SUB bezels are next to impossible to find. There are no new ones made that fit, and there were several generations of vintage SUB case made and none are interchangeable.

Thank you,

That is understandable. They are a different company than before. What I do not understand is when it applies to watches they just sold.
