DOXA 50th Anniversary Book

Post by logan2z » Wed Jul 03, 2019 9:17 am

A new book commemorating the 50th anniversary of the DOXA sub, by Dr. Peter Millar. Limited to 1000 copies  $69.00.

Pretty reasonably priced considering the cost of the Moonwatch Only and various Mondani Rolex, etc. books. I'd be all over this if I were a Doxa fanatic.

The price is pretty good. I have the 40th Anniversary book or I'd probably pick one of these up (and I don't even own a DOXA).

I had a feeling that might be the case when they said that photos from collectors were included ;)

I assume it's a different book than the one I have, or is it? Got this one with the pre-owned 300 Pro re-issue I bought a while back.

If it's the same, this book isn't a new publication. I got it as part of the deal when I bought my 300 Sub from a WUS member in 08/17. I don't see an actual date of publication, but the author's note in the front is dated November 2016.

Right, so the new book is an updated version of the previous one that covers the recent 50th anniversary models.
