Vintage 300T - WTF?

Post by Steve O. » Mon Jul 30, 2018 6:38 pm

I realize that like most vintage diver prices, vintage Doxas have risen too. In fact - through the roof. Just saw one for sale identical to mine on that "other" website. Dude's asking $7K - that's seven thousand dollars! I paid ten times less a few years ago for mine. Are people actually getting this kind of money? Shit, wish I knew then - so many 300Ts, Sharkhunters, and Searamblers sold... :banghead:

My last one:

I saw that one too. I think I paid under $2K for my US Diver's 300T Pro a few years ago, and it had the expandro bracelet and was serviced and relumed by Jack at IWW. I'd be surprised if this watch sold for anything close to $7K but people are crazy...

I think it may have a ways to go still. It doesn't look to be in particularly good condition.

Well if they follow the selling process the next step is to raise the price to at least 20kImage

You're right, but that's honest wear and tear on a genuine tool watch that's been in the family since new, and was used for what it was intended - or some such.
