Doxa Size Compared to Seiko Turdle
Doxa Size Compared to Seiko Turdle
All this recent Doxa talk has me thinking of getting one eventually. Which model is closest in size to the Turdle? The 1200 looks like it’s a little smaller, but the 1500/5000 might be thicker.
Any photos from people who own both?

No photos, but I am pretty sure you would want the 1500. The L2L on the 1200 case makes it wear pretty small IMO.

750T!
Gotta have the BOR style bracelet.

1200T will be too small for you. 1500, 750, 5000, 6000 will work well for you.

Thanks. The Seiko doesn’t appear to be that much larger.

In those photos it doesn't seem much larger, but from experience the NAFT wears significantly bigger than the 1200t case.
As Matt said, a 750t is a good pick for a bigger size, and I have also had a 5000T (45mm) that is on the bigger side.
PADI & 1200t
It sure doesn't look like they are much different in size, but I swear they are!

5000T on ISO - nicely built, really well finished actually.

Chris the 300 is definitely smaller than the NAFT, also the dial is super small. So go big.

750 is a good size. I don’t have a comparison pic to a Seiko but here’s a pic of a 750T Caribbean on my 7.5” wrist

6000T is indeed pretty amazing, and though a hair thicker than a Turtle, I'd say it wears very similarly.

Re: Doxa Size Compared to Seiko Turdle
Thanks everyone. I’m sure I can definitely pull off one of the larger models. The Seiko fits me perfectly, so the closer to that in size, the better.

Re: Doxa Size Compared to Seiko Turdle
My 750 wears really similarly to the Turtles I’ve tried; my 1200 wore smaller (and proportionally taller, if that makes any sense).
Re: Doxa Size Compared to Seiko Turdle
Here is my 1200t next to my SKX. The Doxa wears just a tad smaller. Since the Turdle is larger than the SKX you definitely want a larger Doxa.

Dang. Seeing this reminds me of my 1200T Sharkhunter. One of the few I really regret selling.

Thanks for the photos, Chris. Two years later and I never bought one. Maybe next year.
