Very nice. Yellow looks great.

Nice! What’s the strap?

Re: Poseidon
In the pre-release photos I thought the lume was white, but it appears yellow here. I think the bright white looked great. Is this a photo/exposure issue or is it really yellow?

Re: Poseidon
The hands look pretty white, but the dial looks yellow. I suspect it's due to the picture. Otherwise, the lume doesn't match.
Re: Poseidon
Thanks guys. The hands and indices are the same color, either white or slightly off white due to the dial.
The strap is a vintage Iso. Hibid on IG makes nice repros for $27.

Good to know, thanks Jay. Could you attempt a photo to show the lume contrast better? Thanks.
Re: Poseidon
Little more green/C3 on the indicia.

Mine has been at U.S. Customs in Memphis since 2pm Sunday, both Doxa and Fedex have been absolutely no help in getting it cleared, and my "bitching" about it in a post on the Doxa forum got deleted....typical...

I received an email from Doxa on Wednesday that my order was “complete” and my watch showed up today. Never got an email from FedEx with tracking info

Re: Poseidon
Yup, but I have to give Doxa a minor amount of credit for shipping the watch a few hours after I paid the balance, was supposed to be here 10:30am last Monday....oh well, may flip it anyway!!

It must be a customs issue. Government rarely works well.mvyadam wrote:Mine has been at U.S. Customs in Memphis since 2pm Sunday, both Doxa and Fedex have been absolutely no help in getting it cleared, and my "bitching" about it in a post on the Doxa forum got deleted....typical...
Re: Poseidon
#108!
The yellow is fantastic. Nice enamel, just like the orange dial pros.
Prior to today I wasn’t sure about the case relative to the sub 300 reissues, which I love. Looking at the specs iand comparison pics it looks a lot bigger. In reality it’s definitely more substantial but not huge or heavy at all.

As a child of the 70's (1962) these Poseidon's bring me back to my childhood of seeing awesome things and perhaps unobtainable. Like when your older cousin picked up that old MG as a project car.

Sweet! Liking the recent real world pictures bette than the early ones I saw. Still waiting for the request to pay my balance.
Really like it but also have the new Rolex Deep Sea blue on reserve for hopefully later this summer so might have to flip.

Re: Poseidon
Looks great. The price of vintage Doxas has gotten out of control so it's nice that they've been reissuing some of the classics.
