I'm planning to replace the windows in my condo, so I won't be in on this deal. Already own a 300 re-issue and I'm cool with that.
No, it's not Tourettes.

I swear this doesn’t look like the same case as the orange/black 300 reissue from two years ago.
Seems like different proportions with larger dial opening. But they say it’s the same as 300.
I prefer the 1200 proportions

It is the 1200 case, or nearly identical.

They said it is exactly like the 1200t.

Where's Mike when you need him?

I believe the last reissue was based on the 300 'no T' which is a different case than the 300T on which this reissue is based. But I'm sure someone who knows more about Doxa history will chime in soon...

It is a 1200t case. The reissue 300 and black Lung reissue were the non-T case. The 300T case is a bigger case and dial, which is almost the same as the 1200T case. 300 case has a 25.5mm dial. 300T case has a 27mm dial.

It’s a 1200case imho but they wont say it.
On IG they just won’t clearly answer the questions either.

Put down my deposit Friday, owned a bunch of Doxas over the yrs but never a Divingstar......I always liked the Poseidon logo and have owned a couple of their masks and I think maybe fins years ago.
It would make sense that they would just use the 1200t cases and bracelets, they seem too lazy (or maybe it's just cost effective) to make a new, slightly different case or even a tapered bracelet, which I would prefer for the vintage feel etc. Looks like from the pix they may include a mask?? Would be nice to also have a Doxa rubber strap included, but I doubt they'll do that (currently sold out on the site)

The original 300 and 300T were very different watches. The modern 1200T is the closest to the original 300T, so it makes sense for them to use that case. Why they are calling it a 300T instead of a 1200T only they can answer. The reissue 300 cases are entirely different from this watch.

Regardless, can't wait to get mine. Perfect summer watch

What is the size difference between the 1200T and 1000T? My Divingstar is a 1000T

And then 300+ will be flipped on the forums within a month.

This has always been true of them. You usually have to dig for the info you need.

Nice. Ordering started around 6450 so they're up to about 425/500 sold.

This is the only other yellow diver I've ever owned, also had the lil Poseidon logo on it!

Yellow print on the stainless steel deco bezel wasn't the best idea they ever had.

Way to rub it in that my eyes are getting old :bird:

After some back and forth, I am sitting this one out on the pre-order, but will likely be a buyer when they start getting flipped. The 1200t case was always a bit too thick for me in steel, and while the Doxa mod on the WUS thread says that the case is slightly different than the 1200t, even the earliest 300t cases were a little too thick for me when considering the length. If this was confirmed to be similar to the 600t case, I would definitely be in, but ultimately I am still holding out for a new titanium model -- a titanium Caribbean with a logo in the old 750t case would be my perfect Doxa.

Given the limited production and pre-order price, I think if I end up not liking it I probably won’t lose too much on the resale. I’ve been wanting something bigger than my Seadweller for a great summer option and it looks like this will work well.

And it’s YELLOW! Which my wife tells me is “in” this year when I showed her the picture. Permission. Granted.

According to the Doxa site, all 500 pre order spots are filled. Took a little longer than I expected, I thought they'd be gone near instantly like with the Black Lung.
