The Chinese have nothing on Doxa
I've been considering possibly buying a new watch from Doxa.com. Given my blossoming interest in Doxa, I started looking at the official Doxa forum a little. I see lots of stuff like this :

Re: The Chinese have nothing on Doxa
Now, having read the forum rules, which state clearly that there is to be no posts regarding "repair, service or product issues" on that forum, I was naturally curious. So, I asked for clarification :

Re: The Chinese have nothing on Doxa
YOu asked a question about repair, service, etc., that cast them in a bad light - i.e., you forced their hand, so no, you can't discuss that, naturally. You really just have to laugh at everything over there any more - i've discovered to do otherwise might cause your brain to explode. I still like Doxa, but they run that forum like it was a national secret. Fortunately, our Doxa forum has no such oversight.

Now what words to I need to embed in this thread in order to get the search engines to rank it more highly so that people will understand how Doxa operates?

Re: The Chinese have nothing on Doxa
One of the huge negatives about Doxa. I like the uniqueness of the watches, and they wear really comfortably, but their management of that forum is awful.
Plus their quality control is less than stellar, as many can attest to.
Speaking of busted Doxas, where's Kenneth been?

yeah, where the hell is Kenneth? I was just wondering that earlier this week. Maybe he's busy fattening up for the Norwegian winter.

Re: The Chinese have nothing on Doxa
Doxa has nice watches with original design, but all that bullshit in the forums gives the impression that they are somewhat opportunists making a quick buck. I just don't respect the way they make business, pretty shady if you ask me!

Re: The Chinese have nothing on Doxa
The Doxa forum's job is to sell Doxa watches.
Don't let the moderation there cause you not to buy.
Odd how that worked out.
I love my Doxa, I've had good customer service from them, all groovy.

+1 on both (and multiple) accounts. When I ordered my 5000T, they threw in a black, signed polishing cloth. Well, actually, they forgot to send it with it, but when I contacted them, they dropped it in the mail and I had it in a week. When I ordered my wife's 200T Nymph, they sent me a black rubber strap for my 750T...gratis. How friggin' cool is that?!T.R. wrote:The Doxa forum's job is to sell Doxa watches.
