NUMA 1200 Update!
NUMA 1200 Update!
Limited to 50 pieces.
Doxa isn't certain the logo can be printed because of the detail in the logo; the alternative would be simple "NUMA" branding.
I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!
Anyone change their mind or am I still solo on this one?
Kev.
Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
Kev, I dig it, especially with the logo.

Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
I do like it...just perhaps not the color and I'd be super pissed if
I order one thinking I was getting a logo and got NUMA instead. Can you say secondary market?

Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
Would have to really see RL pics to make a call on a color like that.

I like the teal in the bezel.
But you're still alone in monetary commitment, Kev.

Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
they would really have to nail the exact color because anything slightly off
could look lousy...
wouldn't it be tough to see under water?
the pic posted with the logo looks pretty good, though..

Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
Not too shabby. NOt exactly my style but I do like the logos Doxa uses on these special editions - that is, of course, if THAT is the logo they go with. That's my beef with Doxa these days. They put these out there, get pre-orders, and we still haven't seen the real deal yet. I have no doubt they will sell all 50 pieces, though I will not be getting one (or anything else anytime soon )
Kev, really look forward to seeing your real life pics.

Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
I am severely tempted, but I'm going to stick to my guns here and continue to aim high for the AP ROO Diver.
Damn. That logo really looks great, and the color is spot-on.
Regards,
Adam

Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
The thing with these Doxa limited editions is this: I previously bought the 750T MilPro (edition of 20), the 1000T (edition of 100) TUSA and the 750T MilShark from Doxa. They were pretty cool, I enjoyed them and had no complaints. But came time to flip I pretty much took a bath on each.
So, as much as I do like the NUMA, my personal preference is to purchase a used one if the urge strikes.
Now if you're not a flipper, forge ahead! (I do agree with the sentiments above to wait till a 'guaranteed' version comes out, regarding color and logo, rather than be surprised).

Re: NUMA 1200 Update!
Thanks for all the comments guys. I'll keep passing along the official Doxa word on the NUMA.
I'm really hoping for the logo version, but I think I'd be happy either way.
I promise tons of photos when it arrives.

$11k for the Bamford?
I'll see your $11K and raise you $11K. How about this AP for $22k?
Nah,
I'll take this. . .
It'll match my shirt. .
Or better yet, this one. . .
