Re: some real world photos of the 50th Anniversary SUB 300 P
I am holding off as it looks like I will have some unexpected expenses coming up but have been so close to ordering an S/R. As a complete about face from a vintage like watch the 300 is, I have desired a Pelagos LHD lately but I think time is on my side on that one to be able to purchase one for less in the future.
Regards

Nice, Brian. How do you like it on ISO? Mines been on the bracelet since I got it, but normally I love iso's on everything. It's seems like the strap thickness would overwhelm the actual watch on this one, though. Haven't tried it yet.

I'm not a bracelet guy so off it came upon arrival. Super comfortable on the ISO and I think it works well. Another strap that I want to try out is a Tropic. It might just be the perfect complement to this watch other than the bracelet.

Agreed on the tropic. I imagine a vintage ISO would be great as well.mellonb1 wrote:I'm not a bracelet guy so off it came upon arrival. Super comfortable on the ISO and I think it works well. A BC 295 would rock on that watch.

Well FedEx "delivery by 1030" didn't happen and the wife had to take the kids somewhere.
They tried To deliver that 1115. Thanks Obama.
Wife may have to leave tomorrow too.

I have most of my watches that are being shipped FedEx held at a FedEx center. Locations in my area are staying open until 9pm. Maybe this could be an option.BBK357 wrote:Well FedEx "delivery by 1030" didn't happen and the wife had to take the kids somewhere.

I usually reroute Fed Ex to a pick up facility since I'm never home during the week.

Thanks. The strap is a modern 'Iso' made by BC . It's nice and light and not tacky so you can easily put the strap through the keepers.
