My only worry is warranty if buying used. It seems Doxa is painful with post sale service so I imagine I'd be on my own if something went wrong

Right, and it's not selling for that reason which is why I thought you could probably get it for less.Jeep99dad wrote:saw that he is asking pretty much what one can get them for new from Doxalogan2z wrote:This guy has been trying to sell his 300 reissue for a little while, maybe he'll negotiate further on price.Jeep99dad wrote: dang

Good point on the warranty. But Doxa's customer service is so good I'm sure they'll take care of you (Mike, I'm only kidding!)

Even if he went to 1800-1850 I think I'd buy new. It'd have to be 400$ + under new for me to buy used I think in case of warranty issues. Doxas lose quite a bit on used market too.
I love the 1200 blue too nice watch and size.

Re: some real world photos of the 50th Anniversary SUB 300 P
I really doubt this one is going to sell as low as regular Doxas, not being as limited as it is. But who knows. I did contact Andy at Doxa when I was planning to sell mine, and he confirmed in writing that the warranty is transferable, so you shouldn't have any warranty issues. At least no more so than if you were the original owner.Jeep99dad wrote:logan2z wrote:Right, and it's not selling for that reason which is why I thought you could probably get it for less.Jeep99dad wrote:saw that he is asking pretty much what one can get them for new from Doxalogan2z wrote:This guy has been trying to sell his 300 reissue for a little while, maybe he'll negotiate further on price.Jeep99dad wrote: dang

Brice, this is probably the most comfortable and one of the most aesthetic timepieces I have ever owned. Case is thin and curves nicely on my wrist. I seriously thought about purchasing the Searambler. The main reason I held back is because I already have the 600T Graph SR. If Doxa releases a 300T Graph, I'm ditching the 600T.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

That's good to know. Their site still says that only the original owner is covered by the warranty, but maybe they've recently changed their policy and the site is out of date.jswing wrote:I did contact Andy at Doxa when I was planning to sell mine, and he confirmed in writing that the warranty is transferable.Jeep99dad wrote:logan2z wrote:Right, and it's not selling for that reason which is why I thought you could probably get it for less.Jeep99dad wrote:saw that he is asking pretty much what one can get them for new from Doxalogan2z wrote:This guy has been trying to sell his 300 reissue for a little while, maybe he'll negotiate further on price.Jeep99dad wrote: dang

I saw that, which is why I kept his email, just in case my buyer ever has an issue. They really should update their site to reflect the current policy.logan2z wrote:That's good to know. Brice, the policy has changed. I was told within the last month that the warranty is transferable. Which is shitty because they told the customer I had with the GMT dial problem there is no warranty since he was the second owner. Sounds like a loop hole they will use.jswing wrote:Brice, the policy has changed. I was told within the last month that the warranty is transferable. It's probably safer to assume that the official warranty policy is the one stated on the Doxa web site rather than what was said in an email from a customer service rep. It's possible he was mistaken.toxicavenger wrote:Which is shitty because they told the customer I had with the GMT dial problem there is no warranty since he was the second owner.
