New arrival Doxa 1200T NUMA blue

Post by stogie25 » Sat Jun 04, 2016 5:41 am

I picked up a Doxa Sub 1200T NUMA blue. I love the vintage feel of the watch. I have been after a 1200T for years and the right one finally found its way to me.

Is the 1200t the smaller sized model? I really like this one.

Is there meaning associated with the names? Ex-ante it seems like the 1200t would be bigger (or in some sense "more") than the 800t.

New arrival Doxa 1200T NUMA blue

Post by Seppia » Sat Jun 04, 2016 6:14 am

I have no idea.
I like them a lot though, 42mm with that type of case must be very wearable.
For me, i just find them a little too expensive for a "fun" watch, but if I mad 2x the money I make I would have one for sure

Edited: I'm not implying they're overpriced, just that for what they would represent to me, they would be too high of an expense. Same with aquadive for example.

Depth rating. 1200T is rated to 1200 meters. 800Ti is rated to 800 meters.

I have the same model/color. Fits me really well. The smaller bezel makes it work better on smaller wristed folks in my opinion.

Congratulations. It is a very nice blue and in the past, I have considered buying this watch myself.

Mmmmmh
Dibs?

Joking, too much coin for me, but I absolutely love how the blue dial contrasts with the orange numerals on the bezel

I wish they made this model in the 1500/5000 case. I always thought it was one of the best looking Doxas.

1200's are as close to perfect, for me, as Doxa gets.

Congrats!

I agree, the 1200T proportions are perfect.
