Doxa 1000t

Post by moishlashen » Tue Aug 03, 2010 9:04 am

Bought mattwinsallthetime's ( ) 1000t pro and after owning several in the past including a 1000t TUSA I forgot how GD comfortable they are to wear. I've owned a lot of watches over the last 4 years but Doxa without a doubt to me is the most comfortable rig to wear.

Whats the most comfortable Diver you own?

Anything I put on that sweet Sinn U-rubber strap.

My best fitting/feeling bracelet diver is actually the 5000T.

Good to see you back in a Doxa, Chris!

My Rolex Sub is by far the most comfortable watch I've ever worn.

It's close between the IWC AT, Omega PO and Rolex Sub...

I agree the 1000T is very comfy...that cushion case...

The Seiko 6105-8110 on that leather strap. It is super comfortable and it stays put on top of my wrist. But I'm gonna sell it. :crybaby:

Interesting-I didn't find the PO to be very comfy to wear. Not uncomfortable by any means but not plush like the Doxa is to me.

Good point the Vintage Seiko cushion cases are super comfy for me as well. The MM is comfy and all with zero issues but the cushion cased vintage ones are butta.

Another good point. I had it on metal and it was butta.

For me, it's the 1200T, the thicker case seems to flatten the feel on the back of my wrist. A very close second is my 6309.

For me it's the Sub or smp Bond. They're both extremely comfortable. While the Doxa for me was more comfortable than some, I felt the caseback stuck out too far and made it sit weird on my wrist.

It is most super comfy! I keep mine on a rubber waffle-type strap and it has come to replace my weekender G-Shock!

:tap: This Seiko aggression cannot stand. Everyone should have a Seiko 6105 or 6309!!! It's the law!!! How can you not want to have a Seiko!?! Are you a communist?

My old Doxa 750T was incredibly comfortable. Currently, the Sea Dweller and U1 are my most comfortable.

Yes Derek, just have a little kool aid, it's good. Just have a sip, a ....small sip, it's barely even a taste. Isn't that good?

Come on Mr Creosote...just one more Seiko, it's a tiny wafer-thin thing.

#2-4 in no order, 1000t, PO, Hammy 42

(the 5000t wobbled like crazy on me)

Believe it or not...my Tissot T-Touch Trekker. It is super light and the rubber is nice and soft...

My Omegas are pretty nice too...

Actually added the extra half link (2/3 actually) and the PO works quite well for me...
The Rolex Sub is hard to beat..

Have a Milshark on it way so will be able to do a full comparison..

My Rolex GMT II is without a doubt the most comfortable, followed by a very close second in the Sinn 556 on bracelet.

Out of what I currently own ...

1. GMT II
2. Sea Dweller
3. DOXA 750 on GMT bracelet

+1 followed closely by the 750T SR (on the GMT bracelet) Then my Eterna on the rubber strap, which, imo, is even more comfortable than the Sinn rubber. Blasphemy, I know. :banplz:

Congrats on the 1000T Chris.
