Looks cool but I can't see paying $2g for a 3 hander Doxa.

I guess one could argue that. Maybe. I don't really think so, but I'm sure you're not alone.andrema wrote:The 1200t's are overpriced?jswing wrote:It's only $100 more than the standard 1200t.cdnwatchguy wrote:Looks cool but I can't see paying $2g for a 3 hander Doxa.

I don't see an option for a 1500 sharkhunter, Ben. It is available in 1200, however.BBK357 wrote:Anyone have the pre order link for the shark hunter ?
1500 is available in pro, PVD pro, project aware (Danny), and searambler.

Ben I think you'll need to call to pre-order the Sharkie. I believe only the Pro is available via link.
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.

Ben, you have to call or otherwise contact them directly for the Sharkhunter or Searambler. The online form is only for the Pro. Their CS is 877.255.5017, just call and tell them you want to preorder the 50th anniversary Sharkhunter and they'll take care of you.BBK357 wrote:Anyone have the pre order link for the shark hunter ?

^^ lame. Maybe they're busy with Basel or...just lazy. Probably worth a follow up call.

Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
Anybody get in on this preorder yet? I've waffled between this and a much more expensive watch for my 40th bday gift. I really want the Searambler.

I have a deposit in for a Sharkhunter. According to the Doxa CS rep on WUS, pics of the Searambler will be available in early JuneBSears wrote:Anybody get in on this preorder yet? I've waffled between this and a much more expensive watch for my 40th bday gift. I really want the Searambler.
Edit: However, when in doubt, always buy the more expensive watch

Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
Well yeah ideally that's exactly what I would do. But 1) the one I'm after is roughly 2-3 times the price of the preorder doxa and 2) my CFO/better half will raise unholy hell if I suddenly tell her I just dropped $4k on a new watch. It will be way worse than how that same scenario played out in 2010 when I bought the SubCChocodove wrote:I have a deposit in for a Sharkhunter. Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
Just remember the watch won't be available until November, which is a lifetime for a watch enthusiast/chronic flipper.
Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
I wish I could. Can't justify two Doxas in the collection, but I think it'll be outstanding.
Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
I love it too and started to put deposit but really didn't like the strong arm by Doxa that deposit was non-refundable if you miss out on 300. What's that about?
I bought a Jenny and had great experience from Doxa. Not interested in having $500 held random toward another model. I don't want another model - I want 300!
