More unsatisfied customers...

Post by Ninerzulu » Tue Oct 20, 2015 8:14 am

FYI, if someone is interested. Another topic removed the offical forum of the company. This was erased soon after the post.

"So my last thread was closed by moderators before it should have been. I think there is more to discuss.

I want to know what you guys think about something...

I wore my Doxa for only 5 days before it broke. It wasn't even on my wrist when it broke, it was sitting on my nightstand while I slept. I woke up to find it no longer working. It wasn't banged into anything and doesn't have a scratch on it. And yet this is my reply from Doxa:

"I doubt that the watch was delivered in this condition, and we don’t have such issues at all..."

They won't grant me a refund because the watch was worn. What do you guys think? I was sold a watch that broke after 5 days... I NO LONGER want another Doxa. I want it taken back, refunded and I don't ever want a Doxa again. I think I should have that option. If they send me a replacement I will have zero faith in it every working properly and I won't trust it's reliability. I don't want another.

I'm hoping Doxa doesn't have this thread deleted. All I want is a refund."

If you don't care for this topic...'made you read it!'

What the hell, John?

Are you here just to bash Doxa or do you want to be an active member?

We don't mind valid criticisms, but expect more than that at DWC.

Have it fixed under warranty and sell it. We all have buyers remorse once in a while, but you don't have to get creative, just sell it and move on

Shit happens. No doubt Doxa will fix it under warranty, so do that and sell if you don't want to keep it.

You should attend the DWC writing class. It's taught by River Rat Mike on the third Tuesday of each month.

There are four fifth Tuesdays this year. To know when a class is held is on you. The venue changes periodically.

They won't grant you a refund because they don't have to based on their warranty...
They will fix it for free though..

Buyer beware...

Doxa has an official forum? Where is it here on DWC?

We don't mind valid criticisms, but expect more than that at DWC.
Perhaps someone here can give advice on their own dealings with the company?

Here's my comment on the watch, for those wanting more from me:

Great looking watch! Great history! Fun times for all when wearing it! I own a few, never sold any!

Hmmmm.... Seems that's happening. I bought a 5000T Pro direct from Doxa. Loved it. Wore the hell out of it. Sold it to fund something else. Still want it back. Doxa even threw in a nice branded polishing cloth. As has been said, they are upfront about their policies and I believe you will find they will fix it under warranty. So why not give that a shot?
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.
