300T Home from the Day Spa
300T Home from the Day Spa
Very lucky to have been referred to my local watch guy here in Melbourne, Australia.
He trained on the top swiss brands and Seiko in Singapore in his younger years and works as a one man band from a little shopfront in an out of the way arcade.
Whatever I bring him is not a problem, turned around in 2 weeks, serviced and sympathetically refinished at a very reasonable price, in this case at less than $300. On top of all this he loves a chat and takes you into the workshop to show you what he has on the bench or safe that he is working on at the moment.
Anyway after a few years on the wrist every other day it was time to service the 300T so I dropped it off with Liem asking that he service and lightly restore the case, in particular to tone down the brush surface that had gotten a little too shiny. Couldnt be happier with the finish and very glad I got into the watch (thanks Mike) while the Aussy dollar still had some value.

Cheers Chris and Terry. My 17 year old son has recently become vintage dive and chronograph obsessed so fear I have created a monster!
