Doxa Censorship

Post by Ninerzulu » Mon Sep 07, 2015 1:46 am

Looks like another Doxa Censorship issue:

From a deleted post by Plongeur78 on the watchuseek forums:

"Doxa vintage rubber strap failure

Since the thread was closed i will post a new update, I asked doxa if there would be any offer to repair the damage on my case due to the strap failure and got this reply:- because it is the first time ever to happen in the manufacturing lifetime of this strap, it is hard to believe this happened for no evident reason, did you buy the strap from DOXA direct?
Well I'm sure records of my purchase from them are still on their system from only a few weeks ago? After this less than impressive accusation from Doxa this will be my first and only purchase from them and has soured my opinion of what I thought was a true enthusiasts brand. "

Full disclosure; that lucky rubber had been passed around the DWC and was surely stretched out by the time it got back home.

Long-time reader. Noticed there is less censorship here. Felt like it was welcome. Perhaps I was wrong.

There is very little censorship here. It's just an odd post from a member who has never contributed anything to the forum before. Do you think it's news to us that the Doxa mods are dicks?

Not wrong.

Opinions are welcome, as are new members.

It's censorship when it's done by government.

Going into someone's house/business and yelling then being kicked out isn't censorship.

You're right, that's racism.
