Anyone ever paint their Doxa Bezel?
I'm thinking of experimenting with painting my Doxa 5K bezel. Some of both the orange and black numbers have faded out. It doesn't bother me too much but then again... If the job is not that difficult I might like to try to do it myself. I saw a Youtube video of a guy doing it and the paint he used. Please let me know if you did it the same way or differently. Or if you used different paint colors. (Earth Red is Orange?) Thanks a million guys.

I just found a second solution... Any experience with this method?

That's too easy. This is the route I would take Gary. GL1watchaholic wrote:I just found a second solution... Any experience with this method?

Mike has done this before and could give you some idea's on it. But I think he said testors is what he used also.

I had to do this on a UTS bezel. Testors worked well, but that pen works great.

I have the black and orange Testors paint. I did it on a vintage 300, it worked awesome!

I used the Elmers Paint markers and it was very simple and worked great.

Looks like the Elmers Paint may be the winner! I don't know how well I'd work with a toothpick with my fat fingers and bad eyes. The marker method seems easy...maybe too easy to be true!sfglenrock wrote:I used the Elmers Paint markers and it was very simple and worked great.

Paint is the best solution but an orange crayon works surprisingly well and it's easy to take with you on travel.
