This just in!

I've been thinking about one of these for a while, and finally pulled the trigger. I was going to save for a Black Bay, but decided I needed something a little different to round out the collection.

It's on a NATO right now because I didn't want to size the bracelet here at the office. It wears a little thicker than I had hoped, but I think I can adapt.

Thanks to all of you who helped answer my questions about Doxa in the past.

It was this picture that kept steering me back to the 1200T.

Congrats! I've got (another) one on the way as well. FWIW, I've owned both the 1200T and the Black Bay. The BB is a fine watch, but there's something about the Doxa that just kept drawing me back - not so with the BB. I also found the 1200T supremely comfortable on the wrist.

You can say what you want about the company, but Doxa is so synonymous with this "look" that it adds to any collection. I feel the same way about Panerai - like them or not, they aren't bland.

True - it's a unique design. I also have to say, while I've read about plenty of shortcomings, I've dealt directly with Doxa before and my experiences have been positive. Also, while I realize I'm being played, I find their marketing very appealing. I've been semi-following the Mission 31 stuff - it's really interesting.

I too had/have my eye on a couple other pieces but I kept coming back to the Doxa. I too find it very comfortable to wear. The history and ties to diving and exploration also add to the appeal. It has a permanent place in my collection.

Good work Mike and sweet pickup. Not sure I realized how good Doxas look on nylon before.

The 1200t is Doxa's sweet spot IMO. Well done.

Nice on the Nato as it accentuates the case shape. Gonna have to try that with my 5000T. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking now that it may stay on the NATO for a while.
