Mike's 300t/Massive thanks

Post by 3cGT » Tue Jun 10, 2014 9:05 pm

Huge thanks for Mike for being such a great guy and facilitating this grail
purchase. A real gentleman & a pleasure to deal with. Just arrived in the mail
& straight on the wrist. It is a beauty for absolute sure. You have all seen it before,
but here are some more pics. Its done more miles than a retired PanAm Captain & now
its here in Australia.

:salute: Rob

Does it smell like mike? If so put it in a sealed bag with baking soda and moth balls.

It had a handsome aroma when I unpacked it. Mike is a handsome man isn't he?

I thought Mike already smelled like moth balls? Or was that Depends?

Congrats beautiful watch, Mike spares no expense when restoring older watches. So you got a "good one" and not a throw togethor.

Congrats! Mike is great to deal with, even if he does smell like moth balls.

Phenomenal, Rob. +1 on dealing with Mike.
I've done a couple of deals with him (including a 300T Pro which I miss... a lot) and both were great experiences.

Thanks to all for the encouragement. Sometimes when you covet something for a while & finally nail it it doesnt quite hit the spot. Not in this case, much better than I thought it would be and great to be happier than I anticipated.

Based on Mikes history of buying & selling & buying & selling I told him that I was probably just borrowing it from him for a time ;)

Vintage Isofrane arrived in the post today and that does smell sweet, actually!
Anyway here is a shot of it draped unselfconsciously on a few pages of "The Godfather"

Cheers, Rob :salute:
