300t divingstar

Post by hocky79 » Fri Mar 14, 2014 11:11 am

Is there anyone that can give information about this watch. Owned it for about 25years. Just had it in for service, the original bracelet is missing one of the end links. The synchron logo is on the back but not on crown or dial.

Greetings from Norway :-)

Mike (Cook) just downed some Viagra so he could get a boner for this watch.

Looks great. Very nice condition for a vintage Doxa.

Very nice looking. No info, but have you checked out Dr. Pete Millar's Doxa website? Basically everything you always wanted to know about Doxa. My memory is that vintage diving stars are a bit more rare than Pros or Sharkhunters.

Also, I'd be wary of wearing the watch on the bracelet without the endlink. The bracelet might fail.

the first picture in line shows the watch after service. I only use it with the nato strap now.It is 100% original newer polished. Is it possible to find a original end link?

I was playing around with one of these last night at Red Bar, and I must say that I was, er, aroused.

Ordinarily I'm not much of a Doxa fan, but that Divingstar had me thinking bad thoughts. As for how much these are worth, that I couldn't tell ya, but once Mike gets "in the mood", I'm sure he'll be right over to give us all the lowdown.

Regards,
Adam

I bet that was James...formerly mine, right Adam?

Nice watch....end links are notoriously hard to come by. Watch eBay.

eBay.de the German version is a good source. Germans loved Doxas.

600T end links will work, but the links will splay a little.

Good luck!

Nice vintage divingstar Mike demer03 gave you the best info on finding a end link. I was lucky when I bought a vintage 300 T a few years ago it came with the bracelet. The crystal was a pain to get replace being a stepped crystal when I got mine service.

James' is getting me aroused too.
Wait, that didn't come out right....
"30ish years of martial arts and I've actually had the honor of training lots of LEO, spec ops and even SEAL team 6 on base, fitness training, not martial arts, but still the coolest thing I've done.

Full on egg head corporate job and I fly quite a bit so I'm really looking forward to adding to my collection of TSA friendly self defense tools. I have amcouple tactical pens, but I want to up the game and get into some custom stuff. Been watch obsessed for a while but this seems more fun.

Thanks for letting me play! "
