Coming home....again....
Re: Coming home....again....
Not to thread-jack, but I figure this is as good a place as any to post this. Love the Doxa style, and was looking for a more casual, weekend watch for under $1,000. Found this vintage Searambler being sold by Mark Tannenbaum (drster), so I picked it up. Mark gave me a great deal - highly recommended.
No BOR bracelet, but the watch itself was just serviced and is all original save for the generic crown. Think I'll try to paint the numbers on the bezel.

Thanks!demer03 wrote:Nice! Original orange crystal gasket too.
Its diving days are definitely behind it, but I thought the original gasket was a nice touch. I read from Dr. Pete's website that having a dial with both the U.S. Divers and Synchron logos was kind of rare, so I like that, too. He also says that the Searambler dials are prone to discoloration, but this one seems to have held up pretty well.

I was thinking about that, but I'm not sure I'm up to the modding. What would I have to do?toxicavenger wrote:hey Jeff get a yobokies bro and mod it to work
Like the new signature pic, despite myself.

Just a little dremel work to get the end links to seat snugly....JBZ wrote:I was thinking about that, but I'm not sure I'm up to the modding. What would I have to do?toxicavenger wrote:hey Jeff get a yobokies bro and mod it to work

maybe you can get a straight endlink bracelet and file it down. or check with Jack he might be down with doing it.
cool watch though and keep it away from Mike.

I'll look into it. I consider Mike my fail-safe in case I end up not wanting to keep it.toxicavenger wrote:bro the sigs are for you!!!JBZ wrote:I was thinking about that, but I'm not sure I'm up to the modding.
