Seriously, if it's you Andy? 8 months and I never received screw bars for my 800Ti.

I was very disappointed in how that was handled, and I have been a VERY loyal customer.

Nuff said.
I am not Andy, I work in the European HQ Post office (very tight in here), and I am sorry you didn't receive your screw bars, PM me the address and phone number and I will send them out immediately free of charge

Oh man... I can't believe it. I tried for over a year to get screw bars for a 5000T out of Andy. Still don't have them and that was a couple years ago. I hope somebody really did wake up over there at Doxa...

Very good move on Doxa's part if this is legit. One of the reasons I always flip my Doxa's is I'm afraid when it comes time for a service and case refinishing I'm going to run into trouble.

You seriously don't need to worry there. I've had my watchmaker service a newer one...everything is readily available for movements.

Good to know Mike. I wish I had a "watch guy" like most of you. Takes some of the worry out.

Update:

Sven was true to his word and I received my screw bars.

Pleasantly surprised. Let's hope this is a glimpse of the future.

For some reasons, some non forum members of DWC wrote DOXA, whether DOXA is a post box company, they picked my joke from here and maybe they are not native English speakers, again, this was JOKE !

DOXA is a Swiss company, continuously registered in Switzerland since 1889, and since 1992 in Rue de Zurich 23, 2500 Bienne, Switzerland, with 14 employees at this location, 6 watchmakers at the assembly facility in the same building. The manufacturing facility is in Canton Ticino in south of Switzerland, DOXA Uhren AG is a public company and the above information is available for public review in the Swiss company registry. DOXA will create a company tour video this winter and I will post it here too.

DOXA is owned by the Jenny family since 1992, a brief history of the JENNY brand and the Jenny family is available here: http://www.jennywatches.com/about-jenny-watches.htm

best
Sven

Sven, great reply. The issue is the fact that mods on WUS has played the "smoke and mirrors" game with so many loyal customers that they have ran a ton of them off. Heck demer03 beat the drum louder for Doxa than anyone on that forum and he got "T-bone'd" (banned).

Here is a good read to show how that sub-forum has trashed some people viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11814

I applaud you for trying to set everything straight but it needs to start in-house first imo.

This thread is awesome, I missed it because I always avoid non sales threads that include the word "Doxa".

This is amazing and shows the vast difference between this forum and others. I love how Sven joked with Terry about shipping poop, coolest thing I've seen.

I honestly might buy a Doxa after reading this thread. I always thought if you bought a Doxa and it has issues you are screwed> That thanks to WUS and the idiot mods there.

3 Cheers for Sven!

how should I put this, I don't like this to sound like ass kissing, because it is NOT

there is something about this forum, that is hard to find anywhere else; humor and great deal of knowledge of watches, to me, people here seem to be more grown up (you know what I mean), settled and knowing what they want, and I prefer to chat, or sometimes even argue with knowledgeable grown ups, than ............

Trust, if you need anything from DOXA and PM me, you wont be disappointed, at least I will try my best
