Hey, here at DWC it is a pleasant surprise to see the thread boomerang back to watches multiple times.

You can claim back the roughly 20% VAT when you leave the country. That's why buying a Sinn direct in Germany is by far the cheapest option.

I travel to Italy each year, often travelling to the north so the logistics of
hopping into Switzerland wouldnt be too hard, would be a nice way to
compliment the addition of a great watch to the collection and from here in Australia
would save many hundreds of $$ in taxes and add ons.

Just would have to tell the wife i am off to visit another car factory or museum :stir:
Hi, you can pickup a DOXA SUB weekdays from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Zurichstrasse 23, 2500 Biel. 8% VAT will be added to the price listed on the website, you can claim the VAT when leaving the country at the airport or any border checkpoint if you are driving by car.

Yes, Rolex has a post office in the DOXA building, lol (just joking... in case Rolex sees this post)

No seriously, the building is still partially owned/rented by Rolex and for those who are in Switzerland someday, come and visit DOXAs post office in Bienne
