Looks like you were lucky with the crystal looks like your watchmaker was able to buff it out. When I had mine over hauled the crystal was shot as you know those are stepped crystal and they don't make them any more. Mike told me how his watch maker did his so I had mine do the same they had to glue two different size crystals together to get a stepped crystal and UV crystal glue is the only glue that works were it's clear with out bubble seen between the two crystals but it worked and matched the original crystal. Looks like yours turned out great.
