Now that I have my U.S.Divers Doxa watch back up and running (and still on my wrist, dang it's heavy, almost 1/4 pound), I need to repaint the rotating bezel.
Anyone ever done that before and if so I would appreciate any pointers.
Thanks,

Re: Rotating Bezel
I had to do the same thing a few years ago. I remember searching WUS and found a helpful post about the exact paint to buy, how to do the repainting (hint: toothpic),, etc.. Good luck!GWFAMI wrote:Now that I have my U.S.Divers Doxa watch back up and running (and still on my wrist, dang it's heavy, almost 1/4 pound), I need to repaint the rotating bezel.

I used Testors model paint when I had to do my UTS. It worked great. There is a shade of orange that is perfect for Doxas. I can't remember what it is but I am sure the super helpful guys at the WUS Doxa forum will know.

I use Elmer's paint pens. Dab the tip letting surface tension draw paint in. Let it set up and then come along with an orange wood stick and scrape the excess away. Yours is going to be tough as the US Divers quartz models had very, very shallow etching. To be honest, it may be easier to leave it.
