DOXA Mission 31 SUB Professional RE-EDITION

Post by Axelay2003 » Tue Jun 25, 2013 8:41 pm

Not bad.

The 331 piece LE 'Mission 31 SUB Professional' diver will accompany Fabien on his historic 31 day underwater mission, which will set a new submersion record for human oceanic exploration! DOXA will also set a record for the longest continuously used dive watch under water.

DEEPER, LONGER, FURTHER... for only the pre-order pricing of $2890.00

I like the watch but hate the logos on the dial.

I don't want to like it, but I think I might. I'd like to see some actual pics and stats.

Meh. I still prefer the 1200t - can't get past the bracelet on this. Also, I know it's a special edition, but the price seems on the high side to me, particularly for a pre-order.

There's some sort of minor dust up going on over at the Doxa forum regarding this one. it looks like only about five people post over there at this point.

Titanium may have increased the pricing?

WUS Doxa forum has been unstable and got there fairly quickly from the start of the thread.

You're probably right about the titanium - wasn't even focusing on that.

Why do I suspect these are just the unsold 800Ti cases being re-purposed....

I was thinking the same thing... There never has been a shortage of 800Ti...

I didn't like the Logo's at first either but they are growing on me... Still pricey though...

Am I the only one having a "Whoopty -doo" moment over the Mission 31 thing? Try 75 days + and run out of peanut butter three weeks in.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

one logo on it wouldn't be too bad but two makes it beat a dead horse.

This. It looks like two versions of the same logo. Like they couldn't decide.
