Rubber strap for a Doxa 300T Sharkhunter?

Post by andrema » Fri Mar 22, 2013 5:12 pm

I picked up a vintage Sharkhunter and want to put a rubber strap on it. I don't like "Doxa" on the strap, so I was thining either a Tropic rubber or IsoFrane.

What do you guys thing...any photos?

Mike ~ Is the IsoFrane too thick for a vintage? I am worried that it may not match up with a vintage look.

I was looking at a flat Italian rubber strap too...but the cutouts seem to give it a vintage flair.

That is my general issue with Isofrane....if I were you, I'd find a vintage Inox tropic (very comfy), or do the Hershey. I am looking for a pic on tropic for you....

I might have one of those tropic rubbers.

Mark, I'll send it your way if you want it.

I have a Benetto Centurini 281. Real rubber, has the Iso look, but are thinner and comfy.

The BC straps are nice, but the buckles are the weak link.

Very true. They could be beefed up a bit. But for the price, they ain't too bad.
