I hope this is okay here. I just got my 300t back from service yesterday (private watchmaker) and only thing he didnt have was a case gasket. These things are huge, have you seen?
Anyway today I stopped at a local shop and you wont believe, but its true, the very first gasket I touched, fit like it was made from Doxa themselves! I wrote doxa asking about a gasket but no one ever got back to me, so you can imagine how stoked I was to discover a correct materials gasket from a local place that fits my sub.
All I did was apply a tiny amount of gasket silicone grease and tightened it with my ball case opener. Gasket is perfect fit and case back closed flush as it should with zero gasket showing. The best part; I tested the watch by letting it sit in a deep bowl of water, and zero water intrusion! So it works like OEM.
So if anyone with a vintage sub cant find a proper gasket, email ot write me here and I would be more than happy to help you out.
