Just Arrived...Numa!

Post by smalls » Tue Dec 18, 2012 10:20 am

pretty excited about this one as I've been wanting to try it out since it was introduced last year. Turquoise isn't for me, but the navy dial is sweet! It goes from deep dark, almost black, to bright fun blue. I thought I wasn't going to like the all white hands as I usually go for the more Doxa-esque orange minute hand, but it really works with this watch and after wearing it today I don't know that I would really like it with a different handset. Time will tell on that though. All I can say is, it's really nice to have another Doxa in the fold. Despite all the CS issues, I really enjoy their watches. As far as the Numa badge, I really dig it. Doxa dials with patches are one of the things that intrigued me on the brand to begin with and my first Doxa was actually the Tusa. Numa has a little local history as well as they helped discover The Hunley off the coast of Charleston here so that's kind of a fun fact. Anyway, enough rambling. Here's a few pics before my camera batteries died.

I like it. A lot better than the turquoise dial version, imo. ;)

Congrats.

If it was a hair larger, I would not have let it go (either time).

I don't really care for the Tusa logo which is why I sold mine. That and the 1000t just felt a touch too thin. The 1200t is my Doxa sweet spot. And that EZM3 is killer Mike. If I had the coin I'd be rocking one of those now too.

Nice Matt! Doxa blue is a close second to Doxa orange for me. Still miss my 750t Carib.
