You hear me Doxa?

Post by demer03 » Sat Nov 10, 2012 7:46 am

Bring back the 600 Series and bite the bullet and make a real beads of rice bracelet. I had an extra one and fit it to the 600. The 600 sits lower, more like the vintage and the old bracelet makes it feel just right. Just need to touch up the numbers (I scraped the orange clean to prep for a re-paint).

Doxa can't hear you because it died a long time ago.

Opinions vary. I like it, and that's all that counts. Don't like it? Don't buy it.

I didn't say I didn't like watch; it looks cool. I just don't have much affection for the current Doxa S.A. company. ;)

They've no doubt pulled some bone headed maneuvers, for sure. Still like some things in their offering.

It's all good.

I love my one and only Doxa. If I was forced to answer Mark's (Andrema's) post about my favorite watch I would probably put this one up there. But I discovered I too am a victim of their quality control or lack thereof. :raised:

Some recent pics taken with the newish macro lens and I discovered the lack of paint on the hands. Not noticeable while wearing it but still a little disheartening.

Original BOR bracelet is the most comfortable around. And I agree that the size of the 600 case is just perfect. Add a nice dome and even better. What is Doxa waiting for...

mike I thought when doxa banned you they took away your right to suggestions????

either way I owned the 600t and while it was a cool watch the dial just looked way to small to me. a 750 I might get one day though.

I do miss having a Doxa in the rotation. I liked my 750 Sharky and pro the most followed by the 1200 pro.

Doxa's. Old, new or orange, black- they all look the same. Except the ones with the cool logos on the dial.
