I Barely Knew You

Post by RALAustin » Sat Jun 30, 2012 7:05 am

This one is already on its way back to Francisco after I realized a bigger PVD watch is not really for me and he missed it, but I do have to say the watch looks great in pics. The Doxa rubber was particularly nice because it was worn in. I have had this strap a couple times on other 750t and 1000t/1200t watches and it was always way too new and stiff (if you could even get it on the watch), but I guess if you put in the time to wear it enough it will break in and fit much better.

You would never wear that with all the spectacular watches you have, Rob, and you know it.

I know, but I will say that I wear my Doxas much more than a number of more expensive options. There is a reason I have gone through a ton of IWC, Omega, Breitling, Sinn and other divers and have none of those brands left, but still have four Doxas. I guess I am just a mini Doxa whore trying to learn and sponge from our forum's true Doxa whore, from whom I owe a nu,ber of watches from my current collection!

Rob, you've just got too many killer pieces! wouldn't mind giving Doxa another try but the Tusa 1000 was just too small and I've always wanted a 750 Pro but I've downsized so much that it would sit most likely but might be fun... Glad it got to go home
