I wish Doxa would do this.
I have a collection of vintage beads of rice bracelet parts for repairs. I assembled one from pieces, and fitted out the 1200T with a real BOR.
This is 50% of what I like about my Doxa's...the bracelet. I would pay more for the added detail.
The bottom end link is a hand created piece by our own Mark (drster).

That looks great Mike! I love the newer style BOR on my Doxa 600ts, but the the older one is a bit too flimsy for me. I love the look, but sort of like the Rolex Jubilee bracelets, it just feels too insecure even if most of that is in my mind.
Mike, if you ever come across a seller of a vintage 300t Pro that looks like yours (or could be restored to look like yours), please let me know. I end up wearing the 300t SR as much as any other watch on the weekends and would love to find a 300t Pro U.S. Divers to go with it.

I think it is the loose, or "flimsy", feel that I like Rob. I do not like thick, heavy bracelets. This feels light and airy.
I'll keep an eye out for you. There is a beautiful first generation 300 no T on eBay for $2,750 right now.
and....I stupidly took a little of my Watchco refund and sorted out my missing SR. Shipping from Paris...

That's cool, Mike, and I tend to agree about those vintage bracelets.
On another note, did I read that right? You just snagged a 300t SR from a seller in France? Awesome! That's my favorite vintage Doxa.

Things go more to shit, and I can move it at a profit given how I got it.
Thanks Brad
And, I have a bracelet ready for it....

I can make no promises (given the recent incoming and the wife's response ), but I'd love to own another 300T SR again one day.

Vintage bracelets really have to grow on you. Hated them for a couple years (and Rolex bracelets along with it), but once they grow on you, they really stick. A bracelet that is heavy, thick, has SELs, or what-not, does not ensure quality.

Case in point: the infamous Longio "5 brick" bracelet. It's weighs a virtual shit ton, but sucks the big one.

I love the vintage Doxa BOR's. Not only do they look great and are incredibly comfy, but you can use the micro adjustments in the clasp to get it sized perfectly.
I've got them on both my Doxa's...

Vintage BOR are unique in how they continue to look really good stretched out.
There has been a shift in bracelet design towards heft with many modern watches and I wonder if the industry is moving back to comfort with the profusion of new micro adjustment clasps and use of titanium. Makes sense IMO.

Congrats on the new addition Mike, that`s one I really like and yet to pickup.
On the BOR I agree on the looks & comfort of them, but still inwardly cringe a little every time it goes on of off in fear of a clasp break.

Hotness... that BOR looks incredibly comfortable. It looks right at home on the modern Doxa, as well.
