You`ve done your share of ball busting on this forum and now you`re gonna leave because of some dumbass remarks about your Doxa?
:bs:

What is ridiculous was the blaze orange hunter safety fleece he was wearing in the Doxa pix. I think this all stems from his fashion faux paux, not his 4000T which is probably long gone. What ever. It was a good run Rick, take care.

Watches....cool
Actually, I do sort of get Doxa, though I'd never support the company, either directly with my hard earned money, or indirectly by wearing one of their watches (I like how they look -- that's it). My comment was inspired by a drive-by Bill pulled in the WUSsy Linde Werdelin forum a while back where he simply posted, "I don't get LW" in response to a thread comparing an Okto to a Sea-Dweller. Needless to say, some of the die-hard LW fans didn't appreciate such a blunt assessment of their beloved brand, which required a bit of hand-holding on my part until they could get over the slight.

Obviously, they're waaay too sensitive over there. ;)

Regards,
Adam

Thats fine I guess but this is (WAS) a watch forum for dive watches etc. Hell Pat is all over the site, but I don't remember 1 watch post.

Listen, this is no PMS post. I have done my time, but posting info and sharing with friends is what I want. The group think, everyone pile on, rubbed me the wrong way for awhile...<watchlords anyone> I'll just swing by your posts and sharp shoot your shirts and photos, all the while spewing my baseless opinions about watches I have never owned.

I'm not gone, just done throwing ammo out there.....
This is a watch forum?

I had a Lenders bagel with plain cream cheese and some orange juice for breakfast this morning.

Why have I come to expect threads like these here???? I find them oddly boring.

Come back Ranger dude, htfu.

What can you expect from a forum which has not said one good thing about the 4000t? Personally I like the Sharkhunter version, but I'd fully expect a major ball busting here if I got one and posted it like a standard incoming.

Just the way this forum is.

The ball busting was pretty light IMHO. The heavy 4000t bashing came some time ago, and many specific reasons were listed in that previous thread. From the over hyped buildup, to the silly "safe dive" PR and the poorly finished hands.

Does ball busting go on here? Hell yea, but not at the expense of watch commentary. Most folks here have gone through tons of watches, and thus are very opinionated. Which is encouraged.

What would be boring would for us to be like all the other forums and just pat each other on the back and say "great watch" no matter what.

Right, 100%. I have no problem with honestly sharing opinions especially on controversial items such as this Doxa. The 'working knowledge' of many of the posters here I also value; people have real reasons for their opinions which I respect.

I am more annoyed with the "I'm done with this" posts and soap opera drama. If you don't like what people will say about your watch, then don't post or be ready to htfu and take it.
