Someone sued Shreve in San Francisco, which was an AD I really liked back in the day, but now has a pretty shit reputation, because they spent about 200 grand on watches, with the promise of getting some highly desirable piece allocated. When it came time for the allocation, Shreve couldn’t deliver and the buyer sued. It’s going to be very interesting to see what happens.

My wife had a Ladies two tone datejust and back in about 2009 or so we noticed that the bracelet was severely worn on the 12:00 side of bracelet. I sent it to Rolex New York and they took the old bracelet and sent a new bracelet without servicing the movement. I don't remember the cost but it was over a thousand dollars.

I took an older Tudor prince in for a full service to a rolex service center only to receive it back with parts of the painted date numbers missing. I was told there was nothing rolex could do about it. Mind you, the numbers were in perfect condition when the watch was delivered to the rolex service center for the movement service. After haggling with rolex I was informed that it would need a new date dial as they could not repaint the numbers, and further, they didn’t have or make the date dials anymore.uno online Is it any wonder why rolex is held in such low esteem by a certain segment of watch enthusiasts?
