Rolex Question

Post by andrema » Tue Jul 02, 2019 9:23 am

Okay Rolex guys...I have a Yacht Master clasp question for you:

Does the 116622 clasp interchange with the 16622 clasp? Is there a way to fit the new clasp to the old bracelet?

Search the forums. It will be overpriced and hard to find.

I poked around TRF a bit, even the WTB listings. Nothing much there. Thanks for the insight though, I will keep looking.

Yeah, that's what I would expect. Loose Rolex parts are few and far between. You might expand your search to any full size EZ Link clasp, rather than looking only at the YM version.

Also take a look at the parts section of Chrono24. They tend to have a few of most things. High prices though.

If you want to sell your 16622 clasp I might be interested. That clasp was the hot shit upgrade for the five digit watches before the new designs showed up.

There used to be a TRF seller called “Puffy” and he was able to source clasps and such.

A friend of mine looked into swapping it out. It was $1700 and the required an exchange with the old clasp!

A few of the guys here are going to have that name auto fill due to some recent searches on “other” sites.
