Re: New Tudor Sub?
I wouldn’t mind seeing a BB or BB58 black dial/black bezel without the gilt. Yeah, I know, that turns it into a Sub wannabe, but I’d still like it.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

That bezel is more of a Sub bezel than a BB bezel

Doesn’t matter. We won’t be able to get one for at least a year, then it will be MSRP or over.

It's been less than a year since the BB58 hit dealers, and they're already trading under MSRP in mint condition.

Yeap.... a blue bezel and dial would be really nice.

Tudor can tease all they want, and they do make some great watches. But, if they can't produce, what's the point? I still haven't seen a GMT in the flesh at any of the half dozen Rolex/Tudor dealers in the capital of one of the richest countries on Earth.

Re: New Tudor Sub?
Supposedly this is the "Submariner" being released by Tudor. I can't confirm or deny, I can only hope it's not true.

Re: New Tudor Sub?
If they release a seiko homage after hinting at a Tudor sub reissue that will be pretty funny
Re: New Tudor Sub?
That photo is the so-called early prototype so I’m guessing 36mm with long lugs. I’m sure it’ll look better than the north face.

I find it funny as well. Tudor trolling the internet.para13cord wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:40 pmIf they release a seiko homage after hinting at a Tudor sub reissue that will be pretty funny
Meanwhile most AD's still can't keep the BB58 and BB GMT in stock, so they don't have huge motivation to push out a bunch of releases today, but who knows....

New Tudor Sub?
I should’ve sold my BB58 after Basel, I’d surely get more now after seeing Tudor’s releases
I guess RPR was right about this one

Re: New Tudor Sub?
The dial and bezel aren't too bad, can even live with 4 o clock crown and case shape but what the hell is going on with strap and end links combo? It makes the lugs to like a serios competitor for the LLD

Re: New Tudor Sub?
Turdor's site says the case is 42mm. A little vague computing says the LTL length is about 58mm. And that's without that extra link.

Re: New Tudor Sub?
While I don’t really care for either, am I the only one that thinks the prototype actually looked better? Better integration of the crown guards with no gaps, hands match better etc.
