Preferred AD?

Post by Ryeguy » Mon Apr 03, 2017 8:52 am

As you may have noticed, I've been raising funds to purchase a Tudor Black Bay Black on bracelet. I'm pretty much ready to pull the trigger on the purchase and was looking for some advice on preferred AD's.

The only Tudor dealers around me (southern / sea coast of NH) are Long's and Tourneau. I have no relationship with either place. I'd rather give my business to someone we have a connection with if possible.

Any guidance? I'm actually quite OK with them shipping me the watch as I am in a sales tax free state. I'm leaning more toward an AD purchase than Joma as I'd prefer the in-house movement and would like the Tudor warranty. Plus, Joma is only offering 20% on these so the discount isn't all that compelling. I'm hoping a friendly AD could come close (and if I am wrong on that last point, please let me know).

PM's are fine.

Quick bump on this question before I head down to Boston today. Going to try my negotiation skills at the Tourneau in Burlington, MA, this afternoon.

I'd try negotiating with someone other than tourneau. In my experience, I've never managed more than 10% from those guys.

A while back I bought some Breitling accessories from Tbird jewels in Las Vegas. They had a decent discount and were pleasant to deal with. They also carry Rolex and Tudor, but lacked the typical stuffiness of an AD. It might be worth a call to inquire with them. 702-256-3900
